The Case of the Exact Change is the tenth episode of the first season of The Adventures of Shirley Holmes, that originally aired on 9 July 1997.
It's Stink Patterson's thirteenth birthday and he's invited all his school mates to his party. When Shirley and Bo arrive they are greeted by a doorbell that sounds like a flushing toilet, ans a family dog called Barf. Neither of them are particular surprised - after all, it's what you expect from the class clown whose dad runs a chain of joke shops.
The partygoers then partake in a bizarre scavenger hunt. Stink opts to seek out the dead squirrel first, and promptly disappears. Everyone - even Stink's dad - thinks this is another of Stink's "great gags" but Shirley isn't convinced. Surely, not even Stink would miss his own birthday part..?
