St George's Church is an Anglican church located off Hanover Square in the Mayfair area of central London. The church was completed in 1725 and built as part of an unsuccessful government project to build fifty new churches in the city. It is a very fashionable location for weddings.

This church was the site of Lord Robert St. Simon's wedding to Miss Hatty Doran of San Francisco. Miss Doran's disappearance shortly after the wedding led Lord Robert to seek Sherlock Holmes' help in finding her.
