Lucy Alexis Liu is an actress, model, artist, director, and occasional film producer who portrays Joan Watson in Elementary.
She directed the twenty second episode of season two of Elementary, "Paint It Black".
Her best known roles include parts in Ally McBeal, Charlie's Angels, Kill Bill and Southland, for which she won the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Drama Guest Actress.[1]
