I think it might be that Bill Muay guy. I mean, no one knows much about him, right? And he hasn't been revealed so there's a lot of possibilty...
I agree with A Fandom user 85.118.69.113, it's Moriarty, for all the reasons so carefully detailed in the post above. Good work, you did your research!
I'm a little sad to have learned recently that the blogs are not going to be updated for S4, I think they have been a great addition to the overall story telling.
I would propose that theimprobableone to be most likely Greg Lestrade, considering the fact that Watson knows who this person is and the fact that Anderson, Irene, Sherlock's brother, and Moriarty would not make sense. Watson clearly knows who this person is, as shown in the conversation between Watson and theimproabable one it was the proudest day of my life but now I dont know if it was all just a lie :(
theimprobableone 23 May
Mate, please, it really wasn't. Are you okay?
John Watson 23 May
Are you there?
John Watson 24 May
i am

You need to know it was real. What you did. Sherlock. He was real. What you believed in. It was real.
John Watson 24 May
also, further comments suggest that theimprobableone is praising Sherlock at times and sometimes getting mad at him or Watson- evident of Greg who wants the fame however since the blog is up it neutralizes any evident factor that Greg had on many cases that the blog puts up.The most important comment theimprobableone has typed says that he cant go because he has a date- since the release of the first episode of season 4 it literally tells us that spoilers- Greg has a date, of which is deduced by Sherlock- this literally tells us that theimprobable HAS to be Greg.
As I see it, it cannot be Molly, Anderson, Lestrade or Moriarty, as all of them are active on both John's and Sherlock's blog (Moriarty as anonymous). Also, they were a fan from the start, being the second person to comment on Sherlock's forum. They offer to let Sherlock stay with them when he was kicked out by his previous landlord, and Sherlock rejects the offer. On John's blog, they first comment on "The study in pink" , claiming that the case would have been solved much quicker if they were working with Sherlock, and claim to be an expert on him. When Sherlock puts the anonymous coded messages on his website, they offer excitedly to solve them. They go on to call John stupid on both John's blog and Sherlock's website, and John responds that he would like to meet him (obviously he doesn't seem too pleased). They show a dislike for the Bond films, saying that "i prefer citizen Kane that's a proper film (I don't think it's relevant but it seems to odd to ignore). He comments on "The Geek Interpreter" asking when John will write "the case of the melting laptop" and John replies, saying that he will one day, but this case was more entertaining. This suggests that they know more than the average fan. They go on being generally rude, as well as solving the fire coded message from "anonymous", until Sherlock's fall from grace. They are obviously hurt and disappointed, saying that they wanted to believe in Sherlock.
Now we get to the interesting part. On "Death by Twitter" They comment "it was the proudest day of my life but now i dont know if it was all just a lie :(" John replies, saying "Mate, please, it really wasn't. Are you okay?", "Are you there?" To which they only reply "i am". John continues, saying "You need to know it was real. He was real. What you believed in. It was real." This change in tone suggests that they have made up after their previous 'conflict', John being caring and supportive, and theimprobableone going from arrogant to almost vunerble. This could be just because of what happened with Sherlock, but look closer. In the original message, they say that it was the proudest day of their life. Why would they say that, unless they were part of the case. Upon reading the blog post, you discover that Frank Hassan, brother of the victim, noticed that she was acting oddly in the weeks leading up to her death, and went to see Sherlock. Here it comes... Sherlock looked through the blog, and "found someone he believed would know how to uncover her closed account and her deleted emails, just on the basis of how they wrote their comments. A person we knew as theimprobableone." It turns out that theimprobableone was able to find everything and send it to Sherlock, allowing him to solve the case.
So theimprobable one is not any of the characters mentioned, but a skilled hacker. It seems that we nevenever meet them in the show, but there is one possibility. Craig, the hacker that got in trouble for hacking the pentagon, whewhen Sherlock got him off the charge. Admitted, its unlikely, but if ththeimprobableone ever was in the show, Craig is the most likely candidate. Or maybe theythey were never in the show. I'll leave that up to you.
Anonymous seems a lot like Moriarty except for the fact that he posts a comment on Watson's blog in the post "The Poison Giant" saying "this is all liess!!! visit here ayt more abecause theu fdon't believ your lies MATE #teammoriarty". What is that all about?
As for theimprobableone, I'm pretty sure it's a character in the show. He should do something with the quote "When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth." Who can we get by eliminating all the impossible candidates? He acts very much like Moriarty sometimes ("I understand Sherlock Holmes which is something someone like you would never do"), and Sherlock sometimes ("capital letters are just one of society's conventions that I choose to ignore"/"stupidity"/"your writing style is terrible"/"it was all right"/"disappointingly simple"/"a waste of everyone's time"), and sometimes like someone nobody can recognize ("i want to believe in sherlock :("/"THIS IS AMAZING NEWS!"/"i am interested but im going out on a date") Anyone???
JM was obsessed with Sherlock since childhood. He probably lives alone so he's got a spare bedroom. He wants to meet Sherlock. He's a huge fan (ASIP, the taxi driver, Jeff Hope, mentioned that Moriatry IS A FAN). He wants Sherlock to notice him. So he answers his own riddles. (or maybe Moriarty is not the Anonymous? or he is? nevermind). It is obvious Jim wants to get Sherlock's attention.
Your argument that John and Ella must have known him - NO! We see on Sherlock's blog, that John writes he would love to meet him, and I think that means HE NEVER MET HIM BEFORE. And he didn't met him as theimprobableone yet. Ella just cares about the depressed boy she knows from the blog. She's a therapist. She must care.
Irene? Oh god. She does not care. The "chemical defect" and the high pulse was because she was frightened. She never loved Sherlock. She wanted only the information. Rememberr, she worked with Jim.
As for the dating fact. "I'm going on a date." Why Jim wouldn't have gone on a date? He was dating girls before. Molly, Kitty. Maybe some others (yeah, not truly loving them. but still dating).
Sherringford? What? Something happened to him. So it couldn't be him. Even if he was alive, I don't think he would give Sherlock a bedroom! Why? Why?
Mycroft. WHAAAT?! It's not his style of writing, definitely. And he wouldn't care. And he would write properly. OK, the date would heve been with a cake or an umbrella, but still.
Tom? He didn't know Sherlock before.
A fan? That's good idea. I wrote before - Jim Moriarty was a fan.
Sherlock? WAAAAT. Sherlock? no. no. no.
As for the "clue is in the name" somebody wrote before - WHO SAID THE CLUE IS IN THE NAME? JIM MORIARTY.
Why everybody says theimprobableone is not Moriarty? Because Moriarty is Anonymous? Remember he's also Jim from IT. IT. He can have many accounts, right? Or that he's not alive? We didn't see him dead. Alright. We saw him "dead". But we were as confused as Sherlock. We just hear the gun. See Sherlock steping back. And then Jim on the floor. He may be alive.
It's sooooo obvious that it's Jim. Oh my god. An he is interested in how did Sherlock done his dedustions. He doesn't like John - he clearly thinks he's NORMAL. He thinks he is better than everybody. He knows that. And sometimes he flirts with Sherlock.
"Anonymous uses capital letters". I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOO CHANGABLE!
OBVIOUS!
Sorry. Moriarty is really truly actually dead.
I think its Eurus. You know, Holmes hidden sibling. Eurus' other name was..... Faith Smith?
OMG, what happen to all of your funny little brains!!
We dont know who is the improbableone, and We NEVER know who is theimprobableone ! Let Sherlock solve it!
it can be He/she/they/group/society/animal/titan/giant/monster/kraken/alliens/devil or WHATEVER, it doesnt matter !.. theimprobableone name MAYBE, or SHOULD BE, or no, M.U.S.T BE appears in season 5 !!
So BY THE NAME OF GOD! ..give me season 5,6,7,8,9,10 already for whatever reason or whatever plot available !! DO YOU HEAR ME "BBC ONE" ???
NOT good night.
I am 90% sure that it's the Doctor. I feel like that is exactly the kind of this BBC would do plus the whole dremer of improbable dreams thing.
